Pep Boys Auto Service & Tires

My appointment was actually with the Edward’s Lake Rd location, but Lorena advised that they were no longer taking cars that did not have a dip stick for oil changes because her techs did not want to deal with it, which I was not made aware of before my appointment on 09/06/26. This was EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL as this was the only place I’ve gone to for oil changes for almost 3 yrs. I called the Irondale location and and was told to bring it on in and they had me in and out in an hour. I am greatly appreciative.

Jennifer and her team at Pep Boys Eastwood did a fantastic job on my brake overhaul. They completed everything in just one day, and the service was professional from start to finish. I really appreciate Jennifer keeping everything on track and making the process easy. Thanks again, Jennifer—I highly recommend this team!

Sharing a full-throttle 5-Star shoutout to Pep Boys Irondale on Montclair Road. Not being from Birmingham I had to find a place I could rely on for car care during a stay that extended to nearly a year. So thankful I was connected to this Pep Boys. I could trust them for quality car care, and in customer-centered service in reliability, honesty, transparent communication, helpfulness, hospitality, efficiency. Jennifer, in particular, is a customer service gem. 💎 Grateful to her and the whole team for giving me great car care service, and peace of mind. 🫶🏾🕊️

Got some great service done at this location today. Service Advisor/Tech Zach was helping me out and got me set up to replace my cracked wheel. They were really busy and they ended up working past their closing hours to help me out. I feel bad, but they were very kind about it and gave great service. I believe Will was the Tech who serviced my wheel and I appreciate Will and Zach heavily for getting me back on the road and safe with alleviating me of that cracked wheel.

I had an excellent experience at Pep Boys thanks to Steven! He was professional, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was handled quickly and correctly. He took the time to explain what my car needed without any pressure, which I really appreciated. It’s rare to find someone so honest and genuinely helpful. If you’re going to Pep Boys, I highly recommend asking for Steven—you won’t be disappointed!
